Perhaps there is a choice. Say what? …and we don’t have to vote for the worst of two evils. (Sorry Obama fans, if there are any of you left.)
Rocky Anderson for President! He’s running on the newly formed Justice Party ticket and telling it like it is: “I consider this a second party.” “We need a new paradigm where people are committed to representing the public interest.”
Here he is on Democracy Now! Listen to this 21 min. interview – you won’t regret it!!! He also had a very snappy, compelling interview on Dylan Ratigan today that I hope gets posted. When it does, I’ll grab it for here. (His interview on Ratigan’s show was the first I’d ever heard of him, and can you tell I’m impressed?)
It’s a grass roots campaign. Let’s help him out. If you agree with his views, please comment, share, and “Like” this post! Go to the Justice Party website and see what you’d like to do. It looks like they can use some help. Here’s Rocky’s wikipedia page, which you can reference any day but Wednesday 1/18/12, because wiki’s going dark for 24 hours in protest of proposed SOPA legislation.

Hi, LBNYC,
Good to hear from you again, and Rocky does sound like a worthy candidate for the presidency. Certainly better qualified than Obama or Romney.
Hello sweetopiagirl!
Thanks for reblogging my post and spreading the news about Rocky Anderson. I saw it over on your blog earlier and then went back to post a thank you, but I can’t find it or get anywhere on your site. Perhaps it’s blacked out for the SOPA protest as will mine be tomorrow.
Thanks VB! Rocky’s awesome! I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of him until today. He seems to stand for everything we wished the Dems would have. RIP Dems and Republicans. This election year, I don’t care about the possibility of a third party spoiler. I’m going with what’s right, as the major party’s are basically, although not exactly, the same. They’re bought and sold by $$$$.
Thank YOU Lady Boomer for your great words about Rocky Anderson. If people want info on Rocky’s positions on issues go to: Reddit.com or voteRocky.org… or, feel free to contact me: voteRocky@gmail.com.
For the record, I am a native New Yawkah!
Charlotte – You’re welcome! Thanks for reading and commenting on my post. I hope Rocky can get on ballots in all states and that his truthful message is covered by the media! I’ll post more soon.
I checked out the website from link above. The founding principles of the party and the proposed objectives are compelling.
We have seen both parties violate the democratic process, destroy trust in government and in the political system, and ignore the will and best interest of Americans in their the quest for power and wealth. The Justice Party addresses these issues, an the represents itself as opposed to corrupt election practices and dirty political campaigns, funded by obscene amounts of money, from people/groups who want favors in return.
If by some miracle, Hillary Clinton decided to run against the empty suit she beat the first time around, our incompetent, narcissistic president, I would support her without reservation, and work to help elect her. If we are not that fortunate, for me, this party and this man appear, at this time, to be the best alternative.
The political process in this country is broken, I like idea of a grassroots movement to fix it and clean it up.
We need people like you, Freespirit. Visit voteRocky.org donate $5 or help us register people in your state or, run for office on the Justice Party ticket. This is a certifiable grassroots effort and we cannot afford to fail.
Freespirit and Charlotte: Thank you for visiting and your comments. This is a movement that has a compelling message–and will take time to build. Who is organizing it?
It is being organized by a National Steering Committee. (I am in Santa Fe and I am on it.) We have members in France and California and Washintgon DC, and Washington State and any number of places in between. We meet via SKYPE and conference calls at least once a week. The primary office for the Justice Party is in Salt Lake City where Rocky lives. As a native Manhattanite (go Giants) I’d love to see more representation from”DA CITY” and the state. It is a daunting task to get on the ballot in fifty states but we are in it for the long haul. If anyone is interest in joining with us go to VoteRocky.org and sign up.
Cool! Thanks for the info, Charlotte!
