Hey! How ’bout that! The Clinton Campaign’s HillaryHub, which highlights her current news and blog publicity, listed LadyBoomerNYC’s May 16, 2008 post in their On the Blogs.
“Act Now! Sign Hillary’s Petition to DNC, Pass It On!” (there’s her link again) was my call to action in answer to her request, which her campaign then picked up from my cross-post on The Democratic Daily, originally published here! We’ve signed similar petitions from other organizers before. Now, Hillary is leading the charge. Let’s answer.
Hillary’s campaign is speeding up in the savvy connections department. She held a call this afternoon with bloggers, where she thanked and appreciated them for their hard work and dedication to her campaign and getting the issues out there. Hillary doesn’t have to act presidential, she just is. Listen to her; she’s very gracious. The call was recorded and podcast by Taylor Marsh, and is accompanied by a beautifully natural photo of Hillary. Thanks, Taylor!
Now isn’t her tone the way to negotiate with allies and make friends of enemies instead of the testosterone-fueled sniping that we’ve been hearing currently between the boys? Wouldn’t either temperament inflame foreign governments with whom we’re trying to negotiate? I’m sending lots of good energy to the AFL-CIO right now to endorse Hillary. Oh, and speaking of foreign policy, perhaps it’s time to bring out those retired admirals and generals who endorsed Hillary a month or so ago, for some live appearances.
